This week we will celebrate the first Thanksgiving with a feast of Stone soup. In the book Stone Soup all the villagers bring things to put in the soup and the whole village ate well. On Friday we will make stone soup with all the items the first grade families send in. If it sounds good in a soup, send it in. Some essentials will be chicken broth, onion, carrot, celery. The rest is up to you. Other finger food treats to go with our soup are also welcome. We will also be dressing in our Native Americans paper page vests and bringing pumpkin pie and apple pie to the kindergartners who are dressed as pilgrims. Sign ups for all the food will be on our Facebook page in the comments.
