Monday News, 12/9/19 This week we have some very exciting things going on. We will start by reading the book The Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett. Shhhhhhhh, the big surprise is that Mattie (the main character) has asked our class to babysit some of his gingerbread babies. The first graders will find this out on Tuesday. Don’t spoil the surprise! We will also begin our research on reindeer. Both of these projects will take us the next two weeks to finish. Holiday Performance- Students wear free dress, wear your Holiday performance best. Pick the best time for you (9:00am or 1:00pm) and come enjoy the show! Christmas PJ Party- Thursday the 19th is a ½ day. We will have a PJ party and watch the Polar Express, drink hot chocolate, decorate cookies, and eat yummy finger food lunch.
