I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a chance to take my 8 year old white water rafting. Wow, what an experience. Yes, we did flip the raft. We had a blast. It reminded me how important and valuable it is to schedule in family time and relationship building with your kids while they are little.
- STAR reading log- color in a star for every ten minutes they read at home. You can read to them, they can read to you. Our Goal is to read 20 minutes each night. Goal is 8 Stars, 2 each night. Double check they are coloring in the accurate amount of stars.

This week: Last week we started our first social studies unit on being a good citizen and we are learning about rules and where rules & laws come from.
Super power of the week: the virtue of friendliness. How do you be a good friend, how do we invite others to play with us. What do we do if we notice someone is lonely, or sad?
Math: Working on Problem solving for the next week.
